Rotary Glen Park
About
Rotary Glen Park, established in 1953 at the mouth of Emigration Canyon in Salt Lake City, is a public park operated by the City of Salt Lake City that serves as both a historical monument and recreation destination. The park commemorates the diverse human history of the area, including Native Americans, explorers, trappers, Mormon pioneers, and the Donner-Reed party through monuments and exhibits. Today, Rotary Glen Park functions as a trailhead for cyclists and hikers, features an off-leash dog park area, and offers walking trails surrounded by natural canyon scenery.
