Fur Haven Dog Park
About
Fur Haven Dog Park is an off-leash play area in Fair Haven, Vermont, managed by the town’s Parks & Recreation department. The park features two separate enclosed areas—one for small dogs and one for large breeds—each equipped with play structures, pet waste stations, benches, and a basket of toys, with a pavilion, bathrooms, and picnic area nearby. The park opened in 2022 as a community fundraising effort led by Fair Haven’s then-pet mayor Murfee and local advocate Linda Barker, transforming the site of the former Fair Haven Municipal Airport into a popular recreational space for the region’s dog owners.
