Monkton Community Dog Park

The Monkton Community Dog Park was established and opened on November 21, 2020, in response to community demand for a dedicated off-lead space where dogs can exercise and socialize. Located in Morse Park on Pond Road in North Ferrisburgh, Vermont, the park features roughly one acre of land divided into two fenced areas: a large space for bigger or more energetic dogs and a smaller area for small dogs or those seeking a calmer environment. The park was developed through community efforts, with support from the Monkton Recreation Committee, Monkton Select Board, local donations, and the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, and operates from dawn to dusk under rules requiring licensed, vaccinated dogs kept under voice control.
