Westgrove Dog Park

Westgrove Dog Park, located at 6801 Fort Hunt Road in Alexandria, is a community-driven off-leash dog park established in 2012 that operates through a public/private partnership between the Fairfax County Park Authority and Westgrove P.A.C.K., a nonprofit organization registered under section 501(c)(3). The park features large, naturally turfed grounds where dogs can socialize and play freely in a fenced area, with amenities including water fountains, seating areas, and picnic tables, and is maintained through community involvement and privately funded improvements by park users. Westgrove has become known for its spacious, well-maintained facilities and welcoming community of responsible dog owners who actively support the park’s upkeep and operations.
