Esperance Park & Off Leash Dog Area
About
Esperance Park & Off Leash Dog Area is a 9.6-acre community park located in Edmonds, WA, operated by Snohomish County Parks. The park features an off-leash dog area with separate spaces for large and small dogs, along with athletic fields, a sports court, playgrounds, accessible walking paths, and forest trails. The property was formerly owned by the Edmonds school district; in the late 1980s, community activist group the Action Council for Esperance (ACE) successfully petitioned the County to acquire it for public use, and a major renovation was completed in 2020 at a cost of over $1.4 million.
