Fort Steilacoom Dog Park

The Fort Steilacoom Dog Park is a 22-acre off-leash recreation area located at 8804 Dresden Ln SW in Lakewood, WA, operated by the City of Lakewood. Opened in 2006, the fenced park features separate areas for large and small dogs, water fountains, benches, trees, logs, and an agility course, and has earned recognition as “Best Dog Park in Western Washington” and “Best Dog Park in the South Sound.” The park’s development and ongoing maintenance have been supported by the nonprofit organization Protect Our Pets, whose volunteers helped build the facility and continue to provide regular monitoring and upkeep.
