The TailYard

The TailYard is a public dog park located on Raleigh Street in downtown Bluefield, WV. Developed by the City of Bluefield and officially opened in July 2017, the TailYard provides a safe, gated space where local pet owners can exercise and socialize their dogs. The park was largely funded through private donations and replaced a vacant lot left after a hotel collapse, serving as both a recreational amenity and a community hub for pet-related educational resources and events.
