Buckhannon Dog Park

The Buckhannon Dog Park is a public, off-leash park located at the Elizabeth J. “Binky” Poundstone Riverwalk Park near the boat ramp in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Created by dedicated volunteers in 2016 and opened in 2017 with support from the City of Buckhannon and West Virginia Wesleyan College, the park provides a safe, fully-fenced space for vaccinated and friendly dogs to exercise, socialize, and practice agility skills. The Buckhannon Dog Park Committee actively welcomes community donations and volunteers to maintain and expand the park’s amenities and features.
