Huntington PetSafe Dog Park

Huntington’s PetSafe Dog Park, located in Ritter Park at 12th Street and Ritter Drive in Huntington, WV, is a 3.5-acre off-leash recreation facility that opened in June 2012. The park features separate designated areas for large and small dogs, along with amenities including agility equipment, water fountains, benches, and trash receptacles, all operated by the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District. Dogs must be current with required vaccinations (DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella), and the park operates seasonally from spring through fall, with hours from sunrise to sunset.
