Stanley’s Spot Dog Park

Stanley’s Spot is Morgantown’s original dog park, operated as a cooperative venture between BOPARC (Morgantown Board of Parks and Recreation) and the Morgantown Dog Owner’s Group (MDOG). The 1.5-acre park features separate fenced areas for large and small dogs along the Decker’s Creek Trail between the Pleasant and Walnut Street bridges, offering amenities including double-gate entries, benches, water access, and dog waste stations. The park underwent extensive renovations in 2019 with upgraded fencing and concrete areas, welcoming dogs over six months of age that are licensed and vaccinated.
