Capital Springs Dog Park

Located at 3398 Lake Farm Road in Madison, Wisconsin, Capital Springs Dog Park is an off-leash dog exercise area operated by Dane County Parks. The park features separate spaces for large and small dogs, with approximately 22 acres for larger dogs and 3 acres designated for small or geriatric dogs, along with scenic trails through restored prairie and direct water access for swimming. This community recreational facility, which opened in 2013 as Dane County’s seventh dog park, is supported by a partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Friends of Capital Springs Recreation Area, and is available to the public through annual or daily permit fees.
