About
Viking County Park is a 77-acre Dane County park located along the Yahara River downstream of Lake Kegonsa, accessible via County Highway N from US Highway 51 in Stoughton. The park offers accessible shore fishing, hiking and multi-use trails, a 15-acre off-leash dog park with two dog swimming beaches, a reservable picnic shelter, and a canoe launch, with portions of the land extending onto scenic river peninsulas. The park connects to the City of Stoughton via the Lower Yahara River Trail and serves as a free community recreational resource offering year-round activities including snowmobile trails and winter hiking.
