Dog Park

The Green River Dog Park is a community-built off-leash facility that began construction in 2018 when Green River High School’s National Honor Society identified the need and undertook a six-year project to bring it to completion. Located near the city’s horse corrals, the park officially opened in June 2023 and features a fully-fenced area with grassy spaces, walking paths, dog watering stations, and waste facilities. This civic initiative was made possible through the combined efforts of high school students, local businesses, and organizations who donated time, engineering, construction services, and funds to create what has become an important community asset for both residents and travelers passing through the city.
