Karns Meadow Park
About
Karns Meadow Park is a 42-acre public nature park owned by the Town of Jackson, located along Snow King Avenue and Flat Creek in central Jackson, Wyoming. Purchased from the Karns family in 2003 at a discount with conservation easements created in partnership with the Jackson Hole Land Trust, the park serves as an important ecological resource featuring wetlands, wildlife habitat for moose, mule deer, bald eagles and osprey, and recreational spaces for residents and visitors. The park offers dawn-to-dusk access with pedestrian pathways, a parking lot, and limited winter recreation opportunities, designed to balance community recreation with wildlife protection and habitat preservation.
